MEET THE TEAM
Brian Bowles, Chairman
Brian Bowles has been Managing Director of Grafton Optical since he purchased the company in 1982. During the life of Grafton Optical, Brian has seen big changes in the technology incorporated in ophthalmic instruments.
He is very proud of the Grafton equipment range and the Sales and Service teams who provide unrivalled customer service to Optometrists, Ophthalmologists and Opticians throughout the UK and Ireland.
David Thickens, Chief Executive Officer
David joined Grafton Optical over ten years ago, first fulfilling an ophthalmic engineering role before moving into sales and most recently a combined management role.
David is now responsible for both Hospital and Optician accounts and enjoys demonstrating new products and equipment. David currently covers the North of England.
Outside of work David's interests include cycling and football.
Bob Keating, Sales Manager
Bob joined Grafton Optical in 1984. During his time with the company his roles have included working as Warehouse Operative, Service Engineer, Stock Control & Purchasing, Area Sales Manager, Service Manager and most recently Sales Manager.
The advancement of technology during this time has been revolutionary and Bob prides himself on being able to provide his customers with the latest advancements in eye detection, contributing to the ongoing prevention of sight loss.
Jon Lines, Sales & Service Representative
Jon has a strong and varied background in the optical industry, with over 12 years of experience at Grafton Optical. He has extensive knowledge of the Grafton equipment range and will be pleased to support and advise on the best equipment to suit your needs.
Jon is also a skilled service engineer and is able to service and repair most instruments at your own premises.
In his spare time, Jon enjoys most sports and spending time with his young family.
